That I became obsessed with shouting from the mountaintops how I built a 6-figure business with no prior experience, 50,000+ subscribers and a flexible workweek.
But the leap from overworked interior designer to implementing an automated dropshipping business didn’t happen overnight. That “leap” was more of a back and forth dance with plenty of humiliating failures and decisions I wasn’t sure I would survive.
I studied at Christie's Education and Sotheby's Institute in London for both my Undergraduate and Master's degrees. Working in the design world was always a passion of mine. I worked at David Gill Gallery in St James's and for an interior designer in Chelsea before I decided to bet on myself and focus on my own business.
Initially, I felt as if I was in my element. Becoming an interior designer was a childhood dream come true. All the wallpapers, fabrics, clever bespoke design made my heart flutter... I completed my first renovation when I was 23 years old, was sourcing off-market works of art for clients and running Decoralist, my small, online boutique (at the time).
However, I was tired of trading my time for money, burning out and dealing with a few too many difficult clients. Maybe you're nodding along as you read this. These experiences influenced my decision to explore e-commerce, where I could serve thousands of clients around the world, curating collections they could purchase 24/7, and barely lift a finger. My online store Decoralist was born and I've never looked back.
Since implementing and leveraging the right systems and tools, I've not only built a business that I love, revolving around interior design, but created flexibility day-to-day, whether that's something as simple as going to the gym at my preferred time (so it's not busy!), or travelling for a month at a time and managing my business from my phone.
Helping women start their own businesses has always been a personal passion of mine. When I considered how I could serve as many women as possible, I immediately thought of an online course, community and coaching program where I can bundle my knowledge, experience and advice together.

Why I Do It
Financial literacy is not a term I ever heard growing up. While my parents did their best to provide for our family, they lived paycheck to paycheck most of their lives. Seeing my family struggle inspired me to aim higher. But despite my best efforts, I still found myself drowning in debt.
Once I was debt-free, I realized that the methods I used could help others like me who wanted the same but didn’t grow up with the framework to make it happen. So I made it my mission to help as many people as possible create healthy financial habits and a better life for themselves and their families.
